Thanks for posting the comparison of the 2008 budget, the 2008 actual expenditures, and the 2009 budget in this convenient format. It's helpful to see in one place.
I am struck by the large increase in the budget from 2008 to 2009; 112k to 178k, a 50% increase.
Two items account for most of the increase - 18k for tree removal and trimming and 53k for Steve Knotts/All Weather Construction.
I assume that we are getting a number of services in 2009 in exchange for the 53k that we were not expecting to get in 2008. I, and presumably other homeowners, would find it helpful to know what these additional services are.
Would it be possible for the Board to post a short explanation on this site?
